Peter Gilhuly

Debrah Constance Humanitarian Award

Peter Gilhuly Peter Gilhuly has served on the Board of Directors of APCH for over 10 years and served as the Chair of the Board from 2001-2004. He has been involved in virtually every aspect of APCH over the years, serving on its Executive Committee, as the chair of its Strategic Planning Committee as well as serving as a mentor to one of its members. In June 2008, along with other APCH board members, Gilhuly was awarded the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award for his work with APCH.

After graduating from Wesleyan University and Harvard Law School, Gilhuly joined the law firm of Latham & Watkins where he is currently a partner and is the chair of its West Coast Restructuring practice. From 1998 to 2002, he was the National Chair of Latham & Watkins' Pro Bono Committee. Prior to law school, he was a Peace Corps volunteer in Nepal from 1983-1986 where he managed the construction of a primary school and taught English to primary school through masters level students. In 2008, Mr. Gilhuly received the Alumnae Service Award from Wesleyan University. Gilhuly was recently named on the Daily Journal's 2011 list of the "100 Top Attorneys in California".

Michael Bostick

Children's Inspiration Award

Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning producer Michael Bostick is the Chief Executive Officer of Walden Media, best known for its award-winning film franchise based on THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA book series. He currently oversees their slate of feature films including the upcoming releases JOURNEY 2: MYSTERIOUS ISLAND starring Dwayne Johnson, LEARNING TO FLY starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis, OF MEN AND MAVERICKS starring Gerard Butler, and PARENTAL GUIDANCE starring Billy Crystal and Bette Midler.


Prior to Walden, Bostick was at Universal Studios-based Shady Acres Entertainment, where he produced several blockbuster comedies with director Tom Shadyac, including BRUCE ALMIGHTY. Bostick also served as Executive Producer on the hit ABC television series 8 SIMPLE RULES FOR DATING MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER. Before that, he served as an executive and president at Imagine Films for nearly ten years where he was responsible for bringing in and supervising two of the most successful films in the company's history: APOLLO 13 (Associate Producer), nominated for nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and LIAR LIAR (Executive Producer). In 1999, Bostick won an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and a Producer's Guild Award for producing the HBO mini-series FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON.


Bostick received a Master's Degree from the Peter Stark Motion Picture Producing Program at the University of Southern California's School of Cinema and Television. He currently serves on the Mentor Board for the Stark Program and is a frequent guest lecturer at both USC and UCLA film programs. Additionally, Bostick serves on NASA Advisory Council's Committee on Education and Public Outreach, as well as various other committees dedicated to bridging the worlds of entertainment and education. He currently resides in Pacific Palisades, California, with his wife and three sons.

Frank Chiocchi

Angel of the Children Award

Frank Chiocchi After a short stint in Radio, both on-air and in ad sales, Frank owned an advertising agency in Phoenix, AZ. Upon moving to Los Angeles in1990, he went to work at CBS as an on-air writer-producer before moving to the ABC network in the same capacity. Three years later Frank segued into the world of feature film marketing by moving to Craig Murray Productions as a Creative Director. Another three years passed before he opened up the Westside branch of CMP now called mOcean.

In 2002, he began life at the studio as Senior Vice President of Creative Advertising for Universal Pictures. In 2007 Frank was elevated to Executive Vice President of Creative Advertising at Universal Pictures, a position he held until March of 2011 when he left to become EVP of Marketing at the Walt Disney Company in charge of creative advertising for all live action films.

He has a wonderful life partner in Jessica Rich and two amazing and challenging sons, Henry and Luca ages 8 and 6 respectively.
