A Place Called Home is a safe haven in South Central Los Angeles where underserved youth are empowered to take ownership of the quality and direction of their lives through programs in education, arts, and well-being and are inspired to make a meaningful difference in their community and the world.

Are you or is your child between the ages of 8 and 21 years old? Do you have friends at A Place Called Home or you’ve heard about us? Do you like what you see on this website? If you answered yes to all of those questions, you and your family are welcome to explore the possibility of membership at A Place Called Home!

Want to do something fun, and at the same time make a difference in the lives of hundreds of families? From now until November 12th, you can purchase tickets to a new children's musical, Robin Hood, playing at the Glendale Center Theater . During the play there will be a fun, interactive way to join forces with GCT and help raise funds to benefit APCH's annual Thanksgiving dinner, which serves over 550 families in the community of South LA. See you there! #APCH #RobinHood #SouthLA

Happy Monday! Outside Magazine ran an awesome article on their IW column about the power of the Outdoors on a group of homeless youth. It's amazing to see groups like Los Angeles Youth Network (LAYN) #Empower our youth through new adventures and opportunities. #EmpowerMonday #APCH #SouthLA
